Der Elektromotor bietet gegen\u00fcber dem wesentlich lauteren Verbrennungsmotor herk\u00f6mmlicher Fahrzeuge einen erheblichen taktischen Vorteil.<\/li><\/ul><p>Aus milit\u00e4rischer \u2013 und tats\u00e4chlich auch aus ziviler \u2013 Sicht besteht eine zentrale Sorge darin, dass andere L\u00e4nder nicht nur den Gro\u00dfteil der LFP-Batterieproduktion kontrollieren (derzeit verschiedenen Quellen zufolge nahezu 100 %), sondern auch die Rohstofflieferketten, aus denen diese Batterien bestehen \u2013 und dass der Zugang zu diesen Lieferketten in Krisenzeiten gef\u00e4hrdet sein k\u00f6nnte.<\/p><p>Gemessen an der Masse macht Phosphat 61 % der Kathode einer LFP-Batterie aus. Die Erschlie\u00dfung einer nordamerikanischen Quelle f\u00fcr Phosphat in Batteriequalit\u00e4t ist daher eine Priorit\u00e4t f\u00fcr die nationale Sicherheit. Die hohe Nachfrage nach LFP-Batterien und hochreinem Phosphat l\u00e4sst darauf schlie\u00dfen, dass Lagerst\u00e4tten von magmatischem Phosphat als Versorgungsquelle f\u00fcr dieses Material zunehmend an strategischem Wert gewinnen werden. Der Grund: \u00dcber 90 % des hochreinen magmatischen Phosphats k\u00f6nnen direkt in Phosphors\u00e4ure in Batteriequalit\u00e4t umgewandelt werden \u2013 mit verwertbaren Nebenprodukten und minimaler Umweltbelastung.<\/p><p>Magmatische Anorthosit-Phosphatvorkommen wie das Grundst\u00fcck B\u00e9gin-Lamarche von First Phosphate sind \u00e4u\u00dferst selten und geh\u00f6ren zu den obersten 1 % aller weltweiten Phosphatvorkommen.
