First Phosphate Corp. and Pekuakamiulnuatsh Takuhikan (the “First Nation”) announce the signing of a collaboration agreement with respect to its proposed phosphate mine and Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cathode active material plant project in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean Region of Quebec, Canada.

Pekuakamiulnuatsh Takuhikan is the political and administrative organisation representing the Pekuakamiulnuatsh. The Pekuakamiulnuatsh First Nation has over ten thousand members, many of whom live in the community of Mashteuiatsh, on the banks of the Pekuakami (Lac Saint-Jean). Mashteuiatsh – which means “where there is a point” – is a historic meeting place.
